EOSPRINT

EOSPRINT allows you to assign and optimize process parameters for industrial 3D printing on EOS systems. It calculates the exact path of the laser in the production process to optimize build speed and part quality.

Software Edition 11.2022

EOSPRINT 2.13

  • More reliable powder dosing through improved algorithm and new parameterization --> less powder shortage --> less full overflow bin

  • Upwards compatibility of EOSPRINT with machine software - Significantly reduce re-qualification & verification efforts
  • Material Set Configurator - Work safely with 3rd party metal materials (for health & safety reasons, this tool must remain locked until users have completed a corresponding training)
  • Laser Center Optimized Vector Scanning (LCDS) - new groundbreaking scanning strategy that enables higher build rates as well as homogeneity – new parameter settings
  • Animated help to demonstrate exposure order settings
  • Lock Exposure Sets independently
  • Upon loading, EOSPRINT now automatically determines if a part is a solid or a support
  • More flexibility in adjusting fine tuning values as self service

Software Edition 05.2022

EOSPRINT 2.12

  • Laser Center Optimized Vector Scanning (LCDS) - new groundbreaking scanning strategy that enables higher build rates as well as homogeneity
  • The Energy Input Homogenization combines now the Min Vector Time and the Power Reduction to reduce overheating in critical areas
  • EOSPRINT shows now the exposure time by exposure type to analyze the building time in more details
  • Import of 3mf-files  - for performance improvements and to support industry standards
  • Improved 3D viewing performance
