Biography:
Paula has a passion to help AM serve new production applications and meet evolving customer needs. She has a M.Sc. in Materials Science and has been working at EOS since 2012, looking at AM from different angles – the powder products, the EOS triangle (powder - process - system) and especially customer specific requirements. Prior to this, Paula has worked for almost 10 years in the electronics industry, developing & qualifying materials for hand held devices.
Biography:
Dr. Fatos Derguti joined 3T in 2015. He has successfully managed several multi-million-pound research budgets, both internally and through government-sponsored research grants, and currently has sole responsibility for developing the company’s strategic technical aims. With MEng and PhD on Metallurgy from Imperial College London, Fatos went to the University of Sheffield for 6 years. There he worked as a technical lead and co-supervisor to a team of PhD students working on emerging technologies, specifically EBM, SLM and MIM. Fatos has expertise in several areas of engineering such as metallurgy, additive manufacturing, electron beam welding, metal injection moulding, hot isostatic pressing, and cold spraying.
